About Me

 

Rebecca Plater is a conscious creator living between the Orkney Islands and Fife Scotland. As a natural explorer she takes her inspiration from the extraordinary natural world of these remote Scottish Islands and the Scottish Highlands. A soulist and transitionalist at heart she is currently training in herbal medicine & mind body work. Her background in interiors, design & children's illustration brings many influences to her everyday artistic work.

              

Rebecca works in various mediums including ceramics, printmaking, watercolour & digital. She is currently working on various design and herbal wildcrafting projects. Rebecca - " I use various forms of printmaking & watercolour textures combined with digital media to create imagery which interplays between the agreed collective reality and the unexplored fantastical spaces. My ceramic & design work reflects my imaginative playful love of the natural world.
